The management of National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies NIPSS, kuru in line with its motto:" towards a better society ", signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Wurom Legacy Trust Foundation in Plateau State. The MoU which is aimed at promoting Youth inclusivity and the use of Artificial intelligence (AI) to boost human capital development serves as one of NIPSS Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to the Berom community of the state.

The signing ceremony was held at the Research Department of the National Institute and had in attendance the Director General, Professor Ayo Omotayo, other Management team of NIPSS, Royal fathers of Berom land, the Chairman of Wurom Legacy Trust Foundation Da Austin Dalyop, representatives from Berom Educational and Cultural Organisation (BECO), Berom Women Development Association (BWDA), Berom Daughters Development Association (BDDA), and Berom Youth Mulders (BYM) respectively.

During the ceremony, The DG of NIPSS who doubled as the Chief host of the occasion, described the partnership as a step in the right direction towards Nurturing a generation of critical thinkers, future leaders, and change Agents in the nation, urging the Wurom Foundation to commence execution of the project immediately.

             Also speaking at the event, the founder and chairman of Wurom Legacy Trust Foundation, Da Austin Dalyop applauded the Institute for executing various projects in the host community as part of its way of impacting on the community. He added that the recent partnership is aimed at fostering youth empowerment, capacity building and sustainable National development.

After a successful signing of the MOU, President of the Berom Educational Cultural Organization, Da Gyang Dudu Dalyop sincerely appreciated the Institute for its willingness to partner with the Berom people, stressing that the ICT hub will be a success in no time.

It was established that NIPSS has had a long-standing cordial relationship with the host community which Berom people have largely benefited from, this collaboration is one of such which will serve as a step further into fostering this relationship.
