NIPSS, Nigeria Customs Collaborate on Research and Training.

The National Institute has paid a courtesy visit to the Nigeria Customs Service Controller General, Col. Hamid Ibrahim Ali rtd., at the headquarters on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. The NIPSS delegation, led by the Director General, Prof Ayo Omotayo emphasised the need for mutual cooperation between the Nigeria’s foremost think tank and the Nigeria Customs Service. The two chief executives after a closed-door meeting had a joint discussion with the teams from both sides and agreed on some areas of collaboration and cooperation, including, e-Commerce, Curriculum Development, Data Fusion and Management, among others. It was agreed that this visit will culminate into the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two organisations. In the NIPSS team are Brig General, CFJ Udaya (rtd.), mni, Secretary/Director of Administration; Dr Ibrahim Dinju Choji, mni, who represented the Director of Research, Prof Sola Adeyanju, mni, Head of Public Affairs Department, Dr (Mrs) Catherine Maduagwu, Head of NIPSS Abuna Office , Mrs Sekyen Dogari, Head of Protocol Unit and other staff. This relationship is expected to bring more progress tot he organisations.
